A Dry Riser is a system of galvanized pipework normally rising vertically with valves on each floor to enable the Fire Service to quickly and effectively stop the spread of a fire potentially saving lives and property.
The person responsible for a building or site is legally required to maintain all fire fighting equipment, including dry & wet risers.
